Calderdale’s Waterways- Saturday 8th July at 2pm. Join Mike Clarke, a waterway’s historian, to look at the development of West Yorkshire’s industrial waterways, through maps and photos, and put their development into a national and international perspective. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS AND BOOKING.
Family Map Reading Workshops- Saturday 5th and Saturday 19th August 1pm - 3pm. Join members of Calderdale Valley Search and Rescue Team for one of these two family workshops to learn about modern maps and navigation, have a go at our orienteering challenge around Bankfield and Akroydon Park and hear about the role of the CVSRT.
