Calderdale Museums offers a wide range of creative learning activities for schools, which are related to specific subject areas and cross-curricular topics.
All our workshops include artefacts, lots of interaction for the children, all within a unique and inspiring historical setting. Each workshop is designed to meet the needs of a particular key stage and our education team are happy to speak to you about the needs of your group.
As well as providing workshops for schools we can offer help and advice on self-guided visits or museum trails, which will enable your pupils to make the most of their time at the Museum. We also offer an outreach service for schools that are unable to visit.
Why not make a day of it? If your class has attended a workshop you are welcome to book a room for lunch and then spend the afternoon exploring the Museum. Please discuss your requirements when booking. For more information on the education programmes, charges and booking details please contact the site.
View the Discover Teachers' Guide for more information about the activities and services for schools.
