About the event
Roll up your sleeves and get ready for a burst of colour! This May Half Term, Bankfield Museum invites young artists to dive into the exciting world of screen printing.
Children will experiment with bold shapes, vibrant inks and simple techniques to bring their own designs to life. From pulling the squeegee to revealing their print, each step is packed with creativity and hands‑on fun.
Perfect for budding designers and pattern‑makers, this workshop offers a lively, tactile experience—and a fantastic print to take home at the end.
All tools and materials needed to complete this craft will be provided.
Please note: This is a messy workshop with a risk of staining. Aprons will be provided, but we advise children to wear old clothes.
Suitable for children from 4 upwards.
£5.00 per ticket. One ticket per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults do not need tickets.
This event will be held in our Education Room, which is located on the first floor of Bankfield Museum. Please contact museum.learning@calderdale.gov.uk to discuss any access needs.
