Join us for a talk with author and fashion historian, Karolina Żebrowska, led by curator Gemma Esvelt discussing the crazy, ugly and extreme fashions of the past and now. Celebrating Karolina’s new book, The Encyclopaedia of Ugly Fashions, alongside our fashion gallery exhibition Fashion Extremes! You will have a chance to ask Karolina questions at the end of the talk and then get your copy of The Encyclopaedia of Ugly Fashions signed. Books will be available to purchase onsite.
Wear your ugliest or most extreme fashion accessory. Please just note that the Oak Gallery is not very large so keep in mind when choosing your best accessory!
